PCBs arrived for the A8 Pico Cart, but like the RGB2HDMI it's turned out to be a bit of a bust.

README.md says "The firmware is designed for the Purple Pico". Since it doesn't say it won't work with the stock Pico, I thought I'd try it. It doesn't.

Macintosh 512Ke is up and running with a System 6.0.8, FloppyEMU, PicoPSU, TashTalk, RGB2HDMI, PS2 keyboard adapter and original M0100 mouse.

Just how Apple intended.

Nothing beats the RGB2HDMI for OCS/ECS machines. I use them on most of mine.
My AGA machines use Individual Computers MK2 or MK3 adapters. They unlock all of the awesome AGA modes like 1024x768 and 1280x720. It can even do 1280x1024, but that uses pretty much all your CHIP RAM

It turns out far fewer devices than I thought are supported without the analogue board (that's what the "6-way IDC" pinout refers to).

I don't actually own anything that connects to RGB2HDMI without it. Oops. 😳

Hey @adriansdigitalbasement.com how did you get the apple II in RGB2HDMI ? Is this through the composite?

I hope, i can install the new OS on the NUC soon, after i wound up all the tangents.

And all that, because i wanted to install a vic II kawarii in my C64 and wanted to use the NUC to install the bare metal image of RGB2HDMI on another Pi...

Currently it can be used as an alternative to an RGB2HDMI on any machine (not just one with a PiStorm), but that may not make it to the release. Oh, and it can do audio over hdmi too

My C64 just got the best digital video output I could ever dream of. The VIC-II-Dizer and an RGB2HDMI bought from c0pperdragon.
This is definitely a 5-star rated solution. Excellent.
(unfortunately the photo of the screen doesn't really capture how good the picture is)

Thinking of getting one of these, has anyone else got or tried one? retrolemon.co.uk/amiga-upgrad... Interested to know if it will fit with the RGB2HDMI in there too.

Has to be OctaMED

Nope! I learned recently they made an add-on board when using it with RGB2HDMI, that adds audio to it. Meaning you can now do a full HDMI mod on your NES with Lumacode.

What do other people use for connecting the Oric video output to HDMI? I'm using something custom, constructed by joining two other devices together 😂

tbh, the output isn't perfect but it works. I feel like there must be a better option.

Wrote about how I enhanced my Macintosh 512Ke with USB4VC, BlueSCSI, PicoRC, RGB2HDMI, FloppyEMU and Basilisk II to do modern Internet things like browse Gopher.

두번째, 그럼 여기서 발상의 전환으로 '꼭 비싼 로직, 비싼 디코더 써야함? 대충 시중에 남아도는 싸구려 제품 집어다 마개조 하면 되는거 아님?'으로 접근한 물건

RetroTink-2X Pro, OSSC, GBS-C, RGB2HDMI

On investigation it has a rev 6a motherboard with the 8372 Agnus so it can be modified to have 1meg chip ram. I'll add that to the list of upgrades along with RGB2HDMI and PiStorm.

If you're interested in having your own RGB2HDMI module, please let me know

got a couple with options, base board only, with digital io extender, with analog board and the whole shebang

(only two units of the above are available)

Trying to work out what to wire up to my RGB2HDMI, and I don't understand the cable documentation at all.

This is the 12-bit board without the analogue board or extender. It has a 12-pin IDC header, yet every pinout says "6 way IDC" and the pins don't align. Do I just try to match the inputs? 🫤

New user picture, this time with an Oric Atmos with a LOCI and RGB2HDMI output to OBS.

RGB2HDMI adaptor? I've been thinking of building some myself, but there seemed to be several different iterations and I wasn't sure which was the current one.

Plus the Pi Zero was nigh-on impossible to get at the time, so it seemed a bit pointless. 😄
