Loved the 'The Drifer' stream!
Interesting things:
1) It has a super unique item selection method using a controller
It shows as a ring with selectable notches
2) You mentioned LocoMotive, both of the games use the same unity plugin "PowerQuest" by Powerhoof

So The Drifter is out, that pixel art Point & click you had on a steam next fest!! Amazing game.
BUT, the real interesting story is that The Drifter is almost a byproduct of the tool used to make it PowerQuest. Which is also powering Loco Motive and others...
