Well that's a surprise. Although considering how many papers used machine learning for their analysis at the last APS March meeting, I suppose it shouldn't be. #PhysicsNobelPrize Congrats to John Hopfield and Geoffrey Hinton.

So what's everyone's predictions for next week's #PhysicsNobelPrize? My money is on graphene or something else related to the state of matter. There's been too many astronomy and laser prizes recently, so I don't think it would be that.
