"Whistler - Displaced Bard, Pirate of the Wings of Liberation"
"Whistler" is his only known name, stated to having abandoned it the moment he knew his home within Western Orthard no longer had a place for him. Wandering through the world as a displaced Bard, he long learned the power music can bring, and grew quite the talent for it. He became proficient not only in performative instruments, he learned how to whistle well enough to bring Bardic magics into use through only his mouth, freeing his hands up for combat. This combined with his quick wit and deadly eyesight, made him a threat on any battlefield. He swore no longer to serve someone who would force him to serve, no constricting forest or tyrannical metal regime would control him no longer. He prizes his loyalty at quite the price, one Mary Reed and Alina Petska would earn. While quiet, he keeps his nigh-unblinking eye focused on the protection of the Wings of Liberation. Behind his cold exterior is a soft man who wishes the world to be free. He is quiet and distant, but know he will never keep you out of his sight, whether he likes you or sees you as a threat. Whistler is a male Rava Viera, with obsidian skin and coal hair, highlighted with a soft strawberry pink. Having lost his right eye the same day he truly lost his home, he now only has one emerald green eye, which lasers onto whatever he sees with an unblinking stare. He often dawns a deep red with touches of rose gold armour, a bold choice for an archer trained in stealth, which boasts his skill, silently taunting his opponents. As many bards and Viera, he chooses the Bow as his weapon of choice, but keeps a sword handy, confident in his close and long range skills, even if he prefers the arrow.

The XIIIth: Golbez The Ist: Ardbert The Source: Gor Two loyal and warm-hearted warriors who stick close and want the best for their friend Adalina of the XIIIth Alina Petska of the Source Athena, a twisted and unstable researcher of the Unsundered Source. Her soul was once casted down long ago by Lahabrea. There it would be filtered and recycled through the lifestream like any other soul, and such, sundered. Milleniums later, Athena's sundered shard of the Source would be placed into the form of a Garlean legate: Aurelia. A woman just as twisted as her ancient soul.

"Candid Limsan Photography - 6th Astral Era"
An old developed photograph, dated sometime in the late 6th Astral Era, within the plaza of Limsa Lominsa's lower deck. It is a candid photo, depicting two members of the Pirate Nations new Pioneer crews. One wears far-eastern clothing, distinctive of the Hingan warriors known as "Samurai", specifically Alina Petska. First Mate of the "Wings of Liberation". The second is an unknown, a Miqo'tan member. Seemingly a Seeker of the Sun, having two bright, slitted eyes. Wearing a plain tank-top and linen legwear, with rough field-dressing over her hands. The Hrothgar Samurai stands calmly, casually, free of woes. A warm smile on her snow-white face, looking down at the Miqo'te through her rough, coal black hair. The Miqo'te is another story, having spotted the photographer and bears their teeth with a frustrated gaze, ears flattening. A Squatted stance that is far more alert, blade with easy access at the hip.

"Alina Petska: First Mate of the Wings of Liberation"
Orphaned at a young age, Alina Petska found refuge with an eastern nomad, who took the small cub under his wing and raised her in the arts of the Samurai. After a tearful reunion with her thought long gone sibling and eventually finding herself within a startup Pioneer Crew, swiftly found herself as its First Mate. Acting as the captains trusted confidant and resident free spirit. Petska is a Lost Hrothgar, fur white as ivory and hair black as coal. Despite her Bozjan heritage, chooses to wear her mentors Doman style of clothing, particularly a sky blue haori. At all times carrying a Samurai's blade at her hip that is seldom drawn. She prefers to spread kindness, through an outstretched hand and a smile, no matter the ire she brings in from others disturbed by her permanently friendly behaviour. However this is not to be taken as pacifism, being trained in the lifestyle of the Eastern Samurai, she will uphold her vow of justice with a compassionate blade, lethally if need be, though she chooses this as a last resort and will provide as many open hands as she can to ensure someone is put on the right path in the hopes of a brighter future for all.

J’ai toujours rêvé d’écrire quatre mains (sans superpouvoir ni mutation), et la rencontre avec Marc, d’abord ses poèmes sur Twitter, puis tout particulièrement de Cyberpunk is dead, baby ne pouvait que réactiver cette envie. La nouvelle La Friche en est issue – après une longue gestation (six ans, autant dire que ça remonte à une autre vie), mais un travail moins long qu’un peu trop ambitieux au départ et surtout intermittent, au gré de ce qui s’invitait dans nos quotidiens.
