Erilaisella maajoukolla olisi voinut saada erilaisia tuloksia. Esimerkiksi Euroopan komissio käyttää 15 maata, kun taas OECD peräti 57 maata. OECD:n ennusteessa Suomen kustannuskilpailukyky kohoaa ennätyslukemiin. Vähän eri sanoma, kuin Etlan "keskiverto".

Suomen kustannuskilpailukyky vahvistumassa EU-jäsensyysajan ennätykseen myös OECD:n tuoreessa ennusteessa hyvin laajaa maajoukkoa vastaan. Palkankorotuksiin pitäisi ainakin olla hyvin varaa.
