So what can I do? In my search of modern distros that still support PPC I stumbled upon a beast that I haven't touched in decades, Gentoo. Gentoo has the promise of binpkg now, it can be customized to be extremely lightweight, and officially supports PPC as an architecture.

I think it's just that the Overton window is shifting to the right and Carney's Libs are now just your garden variety "fiscal conservatives", while PP's Cons look more and more like the PPC, so floor-crossing may come naturally as the Libs capture a couple of the more sane Tories.

The reason I am so good on the ground in politics is because I never approach anyone from PPC to CPC supporters with any airs or judgement. There is not a person in this country I can not find common ground with. That doesn’t mean I compromise basic values but Canadians are reasonable people.

I'm eager to get the Mirari PPC Amiga system now that AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition Update 3 with the new ExecSG Multicore support is to be ported to Mirari. Truly looking forward to this.
