#NukeCon
Nuke-Con: The last dance of this event is always our dinner on Sunday, where we sit, eat and share our experiences of the weekend. It’s both a celebration and a sad moment for me as this wonderful time ends until next year, and I wave goodbye to my beloved Nukecon family. Love you guys!

The path to achieving stability and preventing nuclear proliferation must be a collaborative one.

Our new blog post by Sydney Brashears recaps a @carnegieendowment.org #NukeCon panel on nuclear proliferation risks in an era of uncertainty featuring @ernestmoniz.bsky.social and other experts. ⤵️

Had a terrific time moderating a session on space-based nuclear command and control at Carnegie’s biennial #nukecon. Thanks to our impressive panelists, Peter Hays, @nktpnd.bsky.social, and Nivi Raju, for a rich conversation and to the organizers for putting on a great conference.

#NUKECON Had a great panel discussion on limited nuclear war, ably moderated by @nicolegrajewski.bsky.social with great insights about US & French limited nuclear war doctrines with @hfayet.bsky.social and Leonor Tomero. I talked about Pakistan's pov on limited war in South Asia. Great Q&A.

Day 3 of #Nukecon

Excited to moderate this panel with women I know and admire. We all work on nuclear policy from different angles, which is why this will be a great discussion.

If you’re around, stop by.

This was my favorite #NukeCon ever. Thanks to everyone who attended, and a special thanks to my many colleagues who did so much to make this succeed (I just showed up to speak and moderate!).

FYI #NUKECON.

Also, a 1981 Livermore assessment estimated that residents of Karachi—in the event of an Indian attack on the Karachi Nuclear Power Plant—would, under the “extreme conditions” of the study, “probably receive a 10 to 20 REM inhalation dose [of iodine 131] as far as 25 km down wind ….’”

"We remain committed to doing whatever we can to reduce the nuclear threat."

Dame Louise Richardson of @carnegiecorp.bsky.social opened her keynote remarks at #NUKECON by affirming CCNY's dedication to peace for this generation -- and the next.
