Went to Brighton today.
We parked in Hove so we could have a bit of a walk along the seafront to get there.
I bought some pens and a REALLY expensive comic book notepad (which I should have checked the price before I went to the till..).
Had meatballs for lunch in IKEA.
I do like Brighton.

I just had an emotional call with my PhD professor as we put a plan in place for my return to campus in January. Research and teaching are so central to my happiness and my identity, yet I lost them for over a year due to injury, surgery and illness. Going back is a huge step, but it is now time.
