For #Cerebellum aficionados: yes, we looked at #PurkinjeCells (PCs).
Indirect PCs showed learning-related modulation, and interaction timescales with decoder units and M1 matched other cerebellar units.

Balancing feeding with fear.

The neurocircuits and neurons that balance nutritional needs with danger are interconnected and in some cases, one and the same. (e.g. POMC)

No wonder feeding problems are associated with anxiety.

There’s a method to that mad statement. While PTSD is thought to involve threat neurocircuits that support emotional processes, the circuits rely heavily on sensorial – particularly – visual pathways that we and others have noted may be altered in PTSD. 2/

Another purpose of Ramadhan; empathy for the frustrated. Fasting can cause short temper. The neurocircuits for patience aren't as fed or hydrated. It's a time of developing sabr(patience) under a challenging condition
