people just keep thinking that the only 2 options for comic movies are like, the cringy ridiculous tim burton batman or the cringy edgy nolan batman

neither ever gets close to comic stories as good as these because the correct approach would be George Miller's approach to Fury Road and Furiosa
Pages 355 and 356 of Final Crisis - DC Essentials Edition. Superman stands before the Miracle Machine, a Motherbox that may grant a single wish to alter reality, he understands the DC Multiverse is made of vibrations, he proceeds to sing, destroying Darkseid entirely The second page shows Superman, visually unharmed but speaking in whispers, his voice nearly gone, as he senses a heartbeat within the Mobius Chair of the New God Metron, inside it he finds Element X, "The Fire of the Gods", a material of pure potential, implied to be the creativity from which stories are written. Pages 335 and 336 of Final Crisis - DC Essentials edition, Batman faces off against Darkseid, they talk about Orion's death at the hands of Darkseid, and Batman reveals his plan: Darkseid killed Orion with a time-travelling bullet made of Radion, which is poison to the New Gods, Batman recovered the bullet, and he claims to make an exception to his rule against firearms. Darkseid calls his bluff, he is a god, he is Anti-Life, "Can you outrace the Omega Sanction? The Death That Is Life!" Batman shoots Darkseid, who shoots back with the Omega Sanction, as the beams are closing on Batman, he smiles, "Gotcha". Pages 13 and 14 of Justice League #33, from the New 52 era. In the middle of a 3 way battle involving the JL, Lex Luthor, and a woman called Jessica Cruz who's wearing Earth 3's fear-powered Power Ring, Batman walks into the green fire of the Power Ring, approaches Jessica, and talks to her about facing her fear. Pages 15 and 16 of Justice League #33, Batman embraces Jessica Cruz, helping her control her fear and shut down the Ring.
