Gosh I love metatopia I missed you

Thanks to everyone who made Metatopia awesome. Yet again. If we got to spend time together, that was, honestly my favorite part.
A week from now I'm going to be at Metatopia. It'll be my 25th Double Exposure con, and my 8th or 9th Metatopia (I lose count). Here's some tips:

Now that I have slept for 10 hours and recovered my ability to “think” and “feel”, I will do big Metatopia posts later, but I made a terrible mistake and somehow have a dentist appointment scheduled this morning, so it’s going to have to wait a little longer 😂

Metatopia was excellent as usual. I had 3 very productive playtests of Smash Dash and got to play an interesting variety of games, the best of which was Look Into My Eyes from @nickmajorbowden.bsky.social. Elegant 2-player battle of wits with multiple juicy decisions every turn. Incredible game.

We had a ton of fun and learned a lot. Focusing on character creation as part of gameplay, which really seems to matter for modern-setting games.
