Vespyria wouldn't notice it in battle. Outside of combat, she'd simply fix it and move on. No embarrassment or shame about it.

I personally find Vespyria to be more attractive, but #Mel'anie steals the show canonically. She is known for her beauty throughout Terncliff and Kugane, and many suitors pursue her. However, Edwyn was the only one to capture her heart. After his death, she doesn't seek emotional connections.

Vespyria sits at about an 8/10. She is well mannered, especially around new company. Way less formal and polite around close allies. Her stubbornness and playfulness shines through.

Canonically, Vespyria is considered cute. More people find her beautiful later in life when she is brimming with confidence.

#Mel'anie doesn't think there's a person out there who could keep up with her needs. Some part of her is afraid she wouldn't be able to provide the same attention, love, and care that a partner would require.

Vespyria allows Pocero and her children to play with her hair. Earlier on, she is much more protective about the braid specifically but eventually eases up. Nowadays, she thinks it can be silly and fun. #VespyriaLore

#Mel'anie is mildly difficult to love and she is aware of it. She is afraid of people getting too close and hurting her. It doesn't help that she can be hard to please and has rather high standards. It requires a lot of patience and understanding to break through.

My brain only looked at Joy, Sadness, and Anger primarily, but I think Disgust is a better driver for Mel'anie. 🤭❤️

Between the two companions, Alistair likes to snuggle the most. He'll dart into the crook of Vespy's arm and purr. Algae prefers to roost nearby and have an eye on things (both for mischief and security).
Mel'anie *will* share the bed with her cat (which still needs to be named).
