Absolutely loved working on these ventilators, which were highly reliable and hardly ever went wrong.

Until the pandemic hit, and they were gold dust, a pain in the butt to get hold of and always breaking down.

Fun days!

Science writer @maryroach.bsky.social excels in making off-beat or even taboo subjects, such as cadavers or the digestive system, accessible. That continues with her latest book: “Replaceable You: Adventures in Human Anatomy”. bigpicturescience.org/episodes/spa...

Which materials conduct electricity? Does this also work with carrots and if so, could you use them to build an electric piano?

#FAUbirthday: #FAU's #MedicalEngineering Bachelor program celebrates its 10th anniversary. BTW: #MedEng has 50% female students. This is the right approach - I call it the #FAUmodel - to make #MINT more attractive to female students. @FAU_Germany #innovative #diverse
