The best bit is when talented, hard working engineers come to build factories and train US workers and then they get harassed, arrested and piss off back to South Korea and NEVER come back. That's the best way to attract the brightest and the best. Europe thanks you for making it easier for us.

US military threats against Venezuela, just like the war games it conducts with South Korea against the DPRK, aren’t just meant to threaten attacks on the targeted country. They’re also meant to weaken the targeted country economically; these massive mobilizations aren’t cheap.

On October 30, US President Trump and China’s leader Xi Jinping met in Busan, South Korea, for their first face-to-face meeting in 6 years. There was a lot at stake, not just for the US and China, but also for the rest of the world. The result was what can best be described as a fragile truce.

South Korea needs the US on side for the safety and security of their nation. Especially with North Korea constantly flexing its muscles.
They need to survive.

OSINT is thankless. I keep telling people that what the US brushed off, the S Koreans view as a festering wound.

Here's confirmation right out of South Korea to point out the solitary outlet to notice.

South Korea also negotiated a deal where they'd invest around $350 billion further in the US (some $200 billion in cash & $150 billion in shipbuilding), while also buying $100 billion worth of liquefied natural gas. The investment secures long-term gains, while the US gets a short-term cash inflow.

See the attached definition of treason direct from the US Constitution.

So, exactly which foreign power, explicitly an enemy, was Obama “adhering to” when he provided them aid & comfort by investigating Trump’s ties to Russia?

N. Korea, Iran, China, Russia itself?

If governments had understood what the internet was back in the 90s and 00s, they wouldn’t have let any of us near it.

So now the UK want to join Belarus, North Korea, Turkmenistan and Iraq in banning VPNs.
The British government admits it is now monitoring VPNs use by UK residents. Regulator Ofcom has contracted with an AI-powered surveillance service to detect the number of citizens using VPNs to evade the Online Safety Act.

The UK tech minister has said a VPN ban is on the table.
Exclusive: Ofcom is monitoring VPNs following Online Safety Act. Here's how
Ignoring VPNs risks creating ineffective laws, but tracking them threatens people's privacy

South Korea resets alliance burden-sharing after Trump Asia visit
South Korea’s Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit showcased a tightening defense partnership with the United States. The US push for allies to shoulder greater security burdens converged with South Korean efforts to deepen autonomy and prepare for long-term uncertainty about US commitments, creating a mix of deeper operational integration and quiet hedging. The Trump administration, under the umbrella of “alliance modernization,” is pushing for increased South Korean defense spending and a shift in US focus from solely countering North Korea to “strategic flexibility,” which would allow US forces in South Korea to assume regional missions aimed mainly at China.

2/- ships -so S Korea has the cards. Every night on S Korean News they mock and depict DJT’s every gesture, demand, remark, action. They overturned dictators in 1987 & fired their last potus for corruption. He’s actually caused them to retract trust further no matter what they do with us.

Even Korean officials are fuming, warning that Trump’s immigration zealotry could damage the US–Korea alliance & scare off investors who were helping America compete in clean energy.
Because when Trump’s ICE decided to make an example out of innocent workers, they may have broken the law.
