When you do an oopsie and accidentally declared war on your own intra-military Nazis
Hegseth: "We don't need to be a military of beardos anymore. Do you know how many troops claim to be Nordic Pagan? No, suddenly it's become this real fake religious affiliation inside the Pentagon where troops came to be Nordic Pagan so they can grow a beard and nobody challenges them on it."

lol Rand Paul may slow the whole reopen process down over an intra Kentucky feud over hemp (and probably bourbon) www.politico.com/live-updates...
'It'll take them 5 days': Rand Paul could be obstacle to quickly ending shutdown
The Kentucky Republican has been warning he will obstruct passage of any bill that takes aim at the hemp industry in his state.

the thing that upsets me about this the most is that Dems had all the momentum, republicans were reeling, and we were getting intra-GOP fighting over the filibuster, all while voters were blaming republicans for their incompetence

this destroys all of this. just a total gut punch

Begala’s criticism of Mamdani’s vote share is so disingenuous! Yes, the candidate facing both Republican and intra-party opposition in a high turnout election did not perform as well as candidates running essentially unopposed in low turnout ones.

BREAKING: Despite Senate deal, Mike Johnson will not commit to a vote on the Affordable Care Act subsidies all while Trump is blasting Marjorie Taylor Greene in their intra-party rift.

So "no recriminations" is a good intra-caucus policy, but abysmal intra-party messaging.

People want heads on pikes, and while they can't get them, I wouldn't *say* that for at least a week.

2026 prospects do not feel as bright,

given that caving now will undoubtedly launch and strengthen intra-/third- party challenges,

as Dems again remind voters that, regardless of the stakes, they don't, and won't, fight their corner.

Mikie was in Congress until November. They're her former colleagues.

I think this might be more intra state. Schumer implied he supported a corrupt sex pest for NYC mayor over the Dem nominee, who Hochul backed early dedpite disagreements. The state party might be ready to cut him lose.

Notably they are only ever this weak when they're facing Republicans, but they never roll over like this when it comes to intra-party division and are 1000x more spiteful over it the few times they do lose those fights (see Mamdani)

if this seems wrong to you, the problem is not that there is some hidden thing in the statistics you can unskew and untangle. you are simply WRONG. you are wrong because you are in the grips of a powerful intra-left narrative about stagnation and affordability. it is false. reflect on implications

This is not me endorsing anything. This is me making an observation on the history intra-party events that tend to occur in episodes of civil instability lol.

The most common disease of mental capacity on here which cuts across ideological preference is Bluesky users seeing a random person in their phone and assigning them the role of spokesperson for their intra-coalition opponents.

I could not afford the house I currently live in if I had to buy it today. I guess that’s because of intra-left narratives.

don’t know how crispy, far back, or detailed we want the summary to be, and no one’s gonna fess up directly, I’d bet, but: the intra-GOP fight about hemp products has been percolating at close to a 50:50 pitch in the Bible Belt states, the whole time since 2018’s Farm Bill.

this is a big 'left vs. center' intra-Democratic general election for the Washington state House, with Obras as the more progressive candidate:
Incumbent Edwin Obras has officially overtaken Burien Mayor Kevin Schilling in the race for the 33rd Legislative District Representative, Position 1.
November 6, 2025 at 11:54 PM
The most important intra-Dem divide is between Team Fight and Team Capitulate - and I agree with others that it does not necessarily map onto the usual progressives vs. moderates schema. But it’s foolish to ignore the fact that this “compromise” is entirely a product of the moderate wing.

And I say this with love but in my experience and observation, Jews have a hard time contextualizing antisemitism within the larger patterns of racism especially during intra-not-white conflicts because their cultural narratives are so focused on the long throughline of oppression.
