#Integrity-AI
And the few AI enthusiasts are the same people dealing with the integrity issues while simultaneously pushing its use.
Universities are assembling larger and larger teams to deal with academic integrity issues--mostly focused on AI--while simultaneously holding AI "writing" contests, AI-themed events, "hey, come play with these fun tools!" The messages are so mixed, it's criminal. Because AI is bloated with money.

Meanwhile, funding for our graduate programs is being destroyed [and our] Microsoft subscriptions [] can’t disable CoPilot, even as academic integrity (that other AI) cases skyrocket.

I'm honestly very proud of the visual identity I commissioned to a dear artist and friend for the Little Victories podcast and my profile. I would never feed my work purposefully to AI, not even as a joke. Pay your artists. Be grateful for their work. Keep your integrity.
Stay tuned for a BIG announcement…

The Hidden Security Risks Lurking in Your Overheating Server Rack
Introduction: While often overlooked in cybersecurity strategies, hardware thermal management is a critical frontline defense for system integrity. Inadequate cooling in densely packed servers running AI workloads or security appliances can trigger catastrophic hardware failures, data corruption, and service disruptions that create security vulnerabilities. Proper airflow management isn't just about performance—it's about maintaining the operational security of your critical infrastructure.

From what I see, academics are struggling to deal with AI-related academic integrity at department level. The push to adopt AI for everything, invites to AI companies to market their gadgets on campus, AI talks etc. are driven by non-academic units (with the help of a few academic enthusiasts).
Universities are assembling larger and larger teams to deal with academic integrity issues--mostly focused on AI--while simultaneously holding AI "writing" contests, AI-themed events, "hey, come play with these fun tools!" The messages are so mixed, it's criminal. Because AI is bloated with money.

Huh, I wonder what this lawyer and veteran of absolutely no integrity will say?

During the anti-racism protests in the wake of the George Floyd murder, Senator Tom Cotton wanted to give no quarter to violent protesters…who turned out to be proud boys.

Why not post an actual image of the happy couple? Honor their commitment with honesty and integrity? AI is neither, and it’s creepy. Happy to unfollow, have a nice evening.

On one hand, generative AI can drastically reduce workload and accelerate drafting. On the other, it demands stringent human supervision, domain-expert verification, and transparent methodologies to ensure factual integrity.

Edtech has absolutely turned the language of regulation to its own advantage and maximization of opportunities. Also it is depressing that actual people utter words in this way now.

the tools they use SHOWS THE INTEGRITY of the organization. you are being extremely disingenuous here and trying to make it seem like everyone is opposing you without hearing you out. we hear you and we're all disagreeing vigorously. but go on and keep deluding yourself that using AI is good.

honestly, most of the AI images i’ve seen in talks have been “senior white guy faculty who thought it was funny,” which i don’t tend to ding them on “info integrity” for but do find…amateurish? broadly normalizing? tiresome for sure

No, when you come out to defend using AI, you have to be prepared for firm pushback. That's not misogyny, that's basic respect for intellectual integrity.

The BBC’s Stand Against AI Manipulation: A Cybersecurity Deep Dive into Protecting Digital Integrity
Introduction: The BBC's recent public refusal to capitulate to government pressure regarding its editorial use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) underscores a critical juncture for cybersecurity and information integrity. This stance is not merely an editorial policy debate; it is a frontline defense against the weaponization of AI for disinformation and propaganda. This article deconstructs the cybersecurity principles at play, translating the BBC's ethical position into actionable technical hardening strategies for any organization handling sensitive digital content.
