Oh yes! I bet that would be fantastic! One of my fave English class moments was my hyperpolyglot English professor reading the first pages of Beowulf in the original old English for us. 😍

The hyperpolyglot society or w/e it's called has cursed me with the goal of learning 5 languages in order to join and feel cool 😩😩

Almost there with my first L2 and getting there with another, but what the other three will be is a mystery. The langs I dream of change every few days 😭😭

In a world that is increasingly multilingual, becoming a hyperpolyglot—a speaker of more than 11 languages—remains a rare, herculean feat.

Not quite a hyperpolyglot, but she was very smart and good at playing dumb.

My Spanish-Italian post made me think about language families in general. Someone who has learned many languages himself once told me that the variety (rather than the amount) of my languages is impressive. And if I were one to “collect all the languages” (hahah) or an aspiring hyperpolyglot, -

Xiaomancy is a hyperpolyglot. Besides speaking many languages, he has tried to communicate with porpoises and bonobos, too.

I noticed that too. Any language will do really, that’s one of the wonderful things about talking with a hyperpolyglot.

I am a hyperpolyglot and talk to people from all over the world. What is your point ?
I didn’t find any post supporting Iranians in your TL. We are not enemies and we all hate war.
Anyway by your logic nobody is allowed to criticize Israel except us.
So, just shut up 😊

Oh I see, a hyperpolyglot is one who would understand more than 5-6 languages at a C1 or C2
Math 55 is a challenging math course with linear Algebra, group theory, real and complex analysis.
It's difficultly is intended for the experience of aspiring mathematicians

I don’t know of math 55 and I’m not clear on the distinction between polyglot and hyperpolyglot, but I do speak a few languages with widely varying degrees of fluency. I do study more at once (when I have time) and often do it via Thai rather than English

Real algebraic geometry... (do you know of math55? Curious)
Also a polyglot, not a hyperpolyglot? (I happen to be one) Mathematics helps me there, why I ask.
Also do you learn one or more languages at once.
(I use language families, like romance or finno-ugric simultaneously)

Just noticed. How do you think so similarly? It's perplexing to me.
I really find the coincidence peculiar. Also I can help with soil sciences and such. Keep up this variety, I never came across, an actual polymath. This is a first, never thought of this occurrence. Hyperpolyglot at all?

There's millions of people who have gender neutral names. And then for foreign names you're not going to know most of their genders either unless you're a hyperpolyglot.

So listed pronouns isnt about "wokeness"; is perfectly utilitarian and practical even for cisgendered people.
