#HolyAnarchy
Great to connect. I'm also keen on anti-imperial things #holyanarchy

Gave a #HolyAnarchy talk in London office of Council for World Mission - a partnership of churches in mission, which has helped me to be decolonial over recent years, & which is cited through the book. It was a good event.

A really encouraging & creative engagement with my ideas in an essay in 'Amipotence' (volume 2) & in #HolyAnarchy &, at the end, in #GodtheChild - including some further creative metaphors -

Thank you for these kind words reviewing #HolyAnarchy- much appreciated!
@grahamadams.bsky.social book published by @scmpress.bsky.social really speaks to our times. The need to challenge Imperialist bodies in Politics, Business and Church. It points to the need to embrace difference, rather than fear it; to celebrate weakness, rather than bully using strength & power.

Yes, just got a copy - great to see your endorsement - it feels like it would be good to connect sometime (not just because of resonances with my #HolyAnarchy & this book, or because our Unitarian students are among our best at LKC 😉) but just because!

So, an exciting new SCM book, The Messianic Commons, with lots of the endorsements referencing 'sacred anarchy' or 'the anarchic breeze', & the disruption of rule-over ... so it sounds well worth bringing it into engagement with #HolyAnarchy - like there's something in the air @scmpress.bsky.social

Thinking of reshaping #HolyAnarchy as a Lent resource, possibly with short videos, around 5 themes -
1. Kingdom as Holy Anarchy & the two kinds of truth
2. Holy Anarchy v. Empire
3. Holy Anarchy & the awkward body of Christ
4. Holy Anarchy & strangeness
5. Worshipping the anarchic God
Any thoughts?

Absolutely! The between-ness is where anarchic things happen, of the best & holiest kind 😉 - disrupting dominating power dynamics. And such 'chaos,' as Catherine Keller puts it, 'is the border along which creativity happens'. #HolyAnarchy!

To the tune 'Easter hymn' & published in #HolyAnarchy (p.208) (please reference it if you use it), a hymn reflecting on resurrection as an unrecognisable & destabilising reality, which revolutionises the landscape & our perception - because Empire is subverted!

Led worship elsewhere today - lovely people & great engagement on the theme of 'becoming like children'. First time for me for someone leading at another church to turn up afterwards to ask me to sign their copy of my book! #HolyAnarchy!

Unlike those wanting a church of the pure, I affirm the alternative kingdom of yeast in the dough (uncleanness effecting transformation), the refusal to divide pure & impure, & Jesus' solidarity among those judged by purists (who aren't as pure as they suppose) #HolyAnarchy
