Problem with the curent software is it doesn't pick things up like early stopping. So patient gets referred with "restrictive spirometry" when they stopped exhaling after 1.5 secs so FEV1/FVC is interpreted as high. Looking at curve can see plateau not reached.

FEV1/FVC = 0.8 is the norm. Which was found. The values are only given as averages and the spread of data is not known but for the SDs or confidence intervals reported. These are large. Possibly a small decline in the first 6 months, thereafter it seems around normal levels.
