#Donate$6B
Hey, remember when Musk said he'd donate $6B to solve world hunger if the WFP would give him a plan for how it could be done?

Did you know he actually donated $5.7B… to himself. The Musk Foundation, in 2021, held almost $10B in assets. It gave a total of $160M to charities.

Elon is much richer today than he was in 2021. He easily give this amount — and the optics of donating to save thousands/millions from hunger would be so profoundly positive that Cybertrucks would become cool. But even out of self interest he won’t donate, b/c he doesn’t see these children as humans

Remember when Musk offered to donate $6B to end world hunger if the UN World Food Program could provide a detailed plan on how the money would be spent.

So they provided a detailed plan showing they could alleviate hunger for 42 million people in 43 countries for $6.6B USD in 2022.

So he gave $0.
are you sure there isn’t another way, richest man alive?

Remember when Elon publicly declared he’d donate $6B to end world hunger if the UN could show exactly how the money would be spent? The UN’s World Food Programme swiftly responded with a detailed plan to avert famine for 42M people! The UN delivered. Musk didn’t. www.commondreams.org/news/elon-mu...

Hold on, this is a rerun. They're gonna vote "yes" and he's gonna donate $6B to his new America Party Foundation.

It’s like Elon saying he would donate $6B to end world hunger if the UN had a plan to show how they would do it with the funds. He reneged, of course, but if he did donate it, people still wouldn’t praise him. It’s just further fuel to argue that a single person shouldn’t be able to have that wealth

Elon Musk was challenged to donate $6B to end world hunger with a detailed UN plan—but he declined, giving a similar amount to his own foundation instead. Says it all really

there are real critiques of how we distribute aid, but that's not what this was; it was a man who once questioned the value of supporting the World Food Program in his personal capacity, helping gut funding to the World Food Program in his professional capacity www.motherjones.com/politics/202...

He seriously promised to donate 6b to eradicate hunger but the first thing he actually did once in power is to cut all USAID food to poor and sick kids. He starved thousands to death. Fucking bastard

In 2021, Musk pledged to donate $6B to fight world hunger if the UN's World Food Program could demonstrate a clear, transparent plan. They did and Musk never paid up.

Same vibes.

He also tweeted he would donate $6B to fight world hunger if UN met certain conditions.
They did.

He never did.

In 2021, Elon Musk publicly stated he would donate $6B to combat world hunger if the UN's World Food Programme (WFP) provided a detailed plan with open-source accounting.

They did. Musk backed out.

Here is an article about Musky saying he'll donate $6b to end world hunger & then backing out like the slime he is. My previous post got a few details wrong but was basically spot on.

Instead of giving the money to charity, Musk likely “donated” the money for tax-dodging purposes.

10. Bait & switch on world hunger

Elon tweeted that he would be willing to donate if the UN World Food Programme had plan to solve world hunger with $6B. They made a plan (CNN). Musk gave the money to his own foundation for tax-dodging purposes instead (Truthout). (11 of 11)

"His environmentalism mission" my brother in capitalism do u remember when he said "I will donate $6B to solve world hunger" and the UN World Food Program went "okay cool here's our solution will you pay us" and he went "no" and then bought twitter

I remember in 2021 Musk asked the UN World Food Program if $6B would end world hunger. He said if they tweeted an answer he'd donate. They said no 6B won't end hunger but 6.6B would save 42 million that were going to die if aid didn't reach them

Yeah. Elon said he'd donate $6B to help end global hunger if shown a viable plan. The UN World Food Program showed him a plan. Elon did nothing, but maybe take >$5B that could be used immediately to save starving children and park it in a tax advantaged holding tank.

Remember when Musk promised to donate $6b to end hunger?

Yeah that didn't happen either. I guess this time it isn't his money he is promising to give away, but it IS the American tax payers money.

You’re confusing Mark Cuban with Elon Musk. Elon literally said he would end world hunger and challenged the World Food Programme how to do it for $6B. The WFP responded with a detailed plan of how it would be done. Musk declined to donate the money.

Musk challenged UN to show how $6B could be used to solve world hunger, stating he would donate it if they provided a clear plan. UN proposed using the funds to feed 42M people for 1 year, but Musk never followed through with the donation. He later donated $5.7B to his own foundation.

Remember when? Musk said he’d donate $6B to the UN’s World Food Programme if someone could show him a detailed plan how it would work. UFP did. Musk donated to an unknown charity instead.
