My PhD research included a comparison of end of life doulas', doctors', and nurses' levels of death competency as well as a detailed exploration of their first, and their most memorable, experiences of being present at the death of a person they were caring for. #DeathCompetency #EndOfLifeDoula

The 1st step in overcoming death anxiety is recognising that you experience it. The 2nd step is identifying what about death/dying makes you anxious. This can be reassuring - it is usually a specific aspect of this topic, making the issue seem more manageable. #DeathAnxiety #DeathCompetency
