Connect it up to a computer with a USB cable and see if you can see them in the DCIM folder where they're usually stored?
Check if they've been sync'd to either Google or OneDrive?
(Not that, THAT should've removed them from the device)

And for some reason it doesn't automatically create a blue sky folder for my downloaded pics so it all saves in my phone under the generic DCIM so I have to manually drag them to my own created folder to keep it organized

Update: It used to download images on a seperate Bluesky Folder. Then it moved to DCIM. Now it doesn't download shit, even when it says it did.

Plug it into a PC, my phone shows a good number of photos but when plugged in it shows thousands. Open the phone from the computer and click on the DCIM file.

I wanted to move ~400 pictures from my phone to my pc because I wanted to back them up
mid-transfer I mistakenly pressed delete on the DCIM folder
no prompt or anything, it just deleted it all.
no way to recover. I'm so fucking sad

What kind of Android do you have? I'm on Motorola and like Tokens, it just saves to the Camera Roll/DCIM folder. Wondering if it's like a Samsung thing or something.

Tell them you charge $325/hr for social media consults. Also, if you see any videos without proper attribution you'll issue a DCIM take down notice. You're professional that way.
