7️⃣.4️⃣: FAR Council to require that, by 1/4/2027, agencies only buy consumer IoT devices that carry the U.S. Cyber Trust Mark label (www.fcc.gov/CyberTrustMark).

This would be a big change and could frustrate some agencies with specialized IoT needs.
