Except, "a better democracy" is simply not possible within the present capitalist system, because the wealthy will always find a way to buy enough politicians and propagandize enough people to undermine "democratic rule". And by definition, "commumism" eliminates all political elites.

Yep. I sure as eff can, tankie. FDR defeated fascism. He was a capitalist from the bond world. Capitalism also defeated "commumism" in Russia though neoliberalism did create mutants in Putinistan and China.
