On #ThisDayInHistory in 1933, #FDR launched the short-lived #CivilWorksAdministration. It spent 200 million per month and gave jobs to four million, building bridges, schools, airports, and sewers. CWA was replaced in 1935 in the Second #NewDeal with #WorksProgressAdministration.
