First time play the #Chateauma in Castles of Burgundy. The bot player is tough to beat!

Last night's Burgundy session used the Vineyard expansion and I didn't fare as well versus the "Châteauma" (235-210). The vineyards add a full new dimension and decision space, with very powerful abilities being balanced by the two spots tiles take up in the reserve.

The Castles of Burgundy. This & Macao are Feld’s 10/10 games. Châteauma solo mode from the 2023 Special Edition, but with the original 2011 edition. This solo mode is better than the old 10th expansion solo, but renaming components between editions is annoying.

The Chateauma solo bot included in the Special Edition is really good. I highly recommend it to scratch your Castles of Burgundy itch. 😉🏰

#DieBurgenVonBurgund ist ja mein absolutes Lieblingsspiel, solo ist es allerdings "nur" ok, weder der Solospielplan, noch der Chateauma konnten mich wirklich überzeugen. Würde da andere Spiele eindeutig vorziehen, deswegen nenne ich aus dieser Runde mal #Zitrushain.

Après 2 victoires contre le Châteauma (duchés 1 et 2), je commence doucement à entrer dans l’addiction 👌
Prochaine partie solo, j’intègre les boucliers 🛡️ et peut-être les routes commerciales 🤔

Ich werd noch zum solo Spezialisten. Erste solo 🏰burgen von burgund🏰 #brettspiel. 1.5h weil erstes mal mit acrylteilchen und auch hier nicht ganz regelfest.

Solo Modus von Arche nova hat mir besser gefallen weil mehr Fokus auf sich selbst. Aber ich werd dem chateauma noch eine Chance geben.

I played the Châteauma about 10 times as soon as I got the Special Edition hahaha. I actually never played CoB before receiving the Special Edition and I absolutely loved it. I really need to get it back on the table during the cold winter months.
