particularly anxious today. left leg was stiff but i think that was underwear pressing down on leg too much. always worry about blood clots when getting that feeling. also weird pain in head when drinking a mouthful of coffee. i dont usually have it black so idk if that was why but why would that be

I bled for one solid year — including bleeding through my clothing more than once. Had a hysterectomy at age 44. Medical staff missed that my lungs filled with blood clots and I had a pulmonary embolism. Doctors and Western Medicine does not prioritize women’s health. I hope you get help.

As a trans woman you have to look so hard to find the providers who understand sex hormones well enough to realize that your dose of estrogen does not directly correlate with risk for blood clots and cancer and God knows what else and prescribe accordingly

This isn’t a bad thing, actually. Those warnings were given across the board for all types of hormones when some delivery systems actually had zero risk of increased cancer or clots. Vaginal, in particular. This allows for the warnings to match the risk of each type of HRT.
