@lanipator.bsky.social just started the daima commentary. As someone who has worked on smart TV apps, smart TVs and game consoles are normally web apps so the app is a wrapper for a web URL. IMO best native streaming apps are androidTV native. Haven't seen many issues with Apple TVs either.

- You can see the apps as a channel on the TV home page.
- Long click to an app to choose whether to see it in the channel.

Sim, olha eu gosto bastante dele pq não precisei trocar de TV e carrego ele comigo sempre. É AndroidTV então depende da boa vontade das empresas pra fazer um app que presta, a Disney é um lixo. Tenho o da primeira geração, comprei em 2022 e me atende bem.

I pay for premium, which some reports show pay out more to creators, but I mostly do because I watch primarily on my TV. The AndroidTV app for YouTube shows way more ads than the webpage or mobile version. When I started paying in 2020, it had a couple of minutes of ads at a time.

Yeah, with both Kast and Twitch I was able to install apps on my AndroidTV box so I didn't have to get out the dreaded 50 foot HDMI cable, but with Kozmi, that's the only way I've been able to make it look OK, only in a mirrored-monitor configuration, and then it doesn't let me chat on my phone.
