To me the advantages of V are too marginal to justify its use. The $ $ for inline math is fast, easy, and produces less visual clutter when reading the code.

I have been using $ ... $ for inline mati redefine |( and V) as:

These are so convenient to use for matching and appropriate-sized parentheses. But one has to be careful. Some of the LaTeX packages assume the inline math constructs using |(... V), not $ ... $.

This approach severely hurt my kid with dyslexia and they didn’t know how to provide appropriate interventions/remediation. I became a school board director and battled for our district to move to structured literacy. It took the Sold a Story podcast and pending legislation for us to make the move.

It’s crazy how all religions appropriate and claim exclusive ownership over all morality and virtue. It’s equally crazy how humanist atheism can’t separate religion and morality either.

Technically I think Maxwell said she never "saw" Trump acting inappropriately with women - Blanche didn't follow up or ask if she had any knowledge that he had inappropriate contact with women - but of course Maxwell would have thought it was all appropriate so she wouldn't be lying
