ALP risks violating International Law
WE DIDN'T VOTE FOR THIS, but every time #Auspol voters do this back & forth LNP/ALP dance, we end up violating the UN Charter to appease cutthroat bloodthirsty fascists (US (Israel) & UK) who still extort us! #AUKUS

#Auspol Australian Sovereignty means getting it right @australianlabor.bsky.social will be made complicit in #warcrimes as long as USA remains on the United Nations Security Council. If they were booted, we'd have our chance to stop their endless coups & proxy wars! www.youtube.com/live/4bnxNTb...

This is from a Labor government? Holy shit. Who needs the LNP to be totalitarians when the ALP can do it for you amirite?
November 12, 2025 at 4:08 AM
But they are over Michael - the fossil-fuel industry were victorious while their ALP/LNP Allies receive millions in 'reparation' donations. This of course is all paid for by the losing side - the Australian public - through insurance, tax & power price hikes ...
November 12, 2025 at 1:54 AM
I was going to ask @tonyburkemp whether Naura's president brought up ALP's expansion of fossil-fuel projects but Tony has turned his comments off. I guess if you are not an LNP voter who listens to 2GB and watches Sky News then Tony & his ALP are not interested in your views ... #auspol

It costs over a million per year for a child to be in prison. And children's prisons are harmful for staff and children yet Jacinta Allan wants to lock up more children for longer. Tell me again how ALP is better than LNP? #auspol
November 12, 2025 at 12:52 AM
I agree, however the ALP should be 3rd last. One nation should be last, it's worse than the LNP.
November 11, 2025 at 11:12 PM
Good. That is the way to get people thinking strategically. Also reassure them that putting #LNP last and #ALP
Second last means their vote is NOT wasted. People don’t understand preferences well. #auspol
I would like Labor to know that I have begun thinking about deploying my preferences towards independents, greens, Teal-like groups. Don't know who they'll be this far out but I will be discussing this at coffee shops, on public transport, and anywhere two or more are gathered. Advice will be sought
November 11, 2025 at 11:07 PM
Yep, we expect the LNP to be this stupid, why would an ALP Premier go there
November 11, 2025 at 10:25 PM
I am so sick of this distraction. The LNP are irrelevant right now - what matters is the damage the ALP is doing in power & its refusal to put up legislation that would actually tackle some of the most climate damaging projects. But no, the Overton window we're allowed is "should it be even worse".
November 11, 2025 at 8:24 PM
Leaving aside the fact that this right wing fringe party (The LNP) are unelectable now, I think the ALP should help lobby the LNP to dump net zero. The LNP will be destroyed (again) at the ballot box.

The next election cycle isn't for a while so nobody's announced their campaign yet. There are two independents, who I suspect will both ultimately vote in favour of a bathroom ban, but the margin between the LNP and the ALP is large enough that it's unlikely 2 MPs will decide it
November 11, 2025 at 9:36 AM
4. They would need to get it through parliament. Current bloc balance is LNP+KAP 55, ALP+QG 36, IND 2. I don't have a read on either of the independents; Bolton seems very receptive to TERF feedback but possibly in a naive way, Sullivan is ex-Labor for bad reasons but that could mean anything.

It's not specifically Nazi hatred we don't like. it is the existence of them in our streets that is the problem. There are no Nazis who are lovely, caring people. One does not separate the hatred from the Nazi; there is no one without the other. The are undemocratic and breed hatred with each breath

He should be confident of not being dismissed.

Just as the ALP has no Whitlam the LNP has no Frazer.
November 11, 2025 at 5:49 AM
the fraser government passed the migration reforms that led to my grandparents becoming australian citizens. no ALP or LNP government since has possessed even that tiny shred of moral courage. fraser died a radical lefty by today's standards!

Like Max Chandler Mather.

Max was facing national level opposition from ALP & LNP.

Mamdani was great, but against what opposition?
November 10, 2025 at 11:50 PM
Are the Millenials drifting "further left"?
Or is it the centre of the political spectrum that has shifted?
I would argue the latter, with both LNP & ALP flailing to keep up.
November 10, 2025 at 7:46 PM
The evisceration of the LNP has given them a real sniff. But they'll keep splitting up 'til the election, giving the ALP another thumping majority. God they are idiots.

ALP is woeful on environment except renewables/EV’s/batteries. BUT suggest you talk to Sally McManus. Completely betrayed? Others-“done nothing for ordinary people?” Wage theft (everywhere when LNP in govt) & industrial manslaughter now a CRIMINAL offence, Super (theft) now to be paid fortnightly +
November 10, 2025 at 6:20 AM
I’ve pretty much written off the LNP but given weakness of ALP I fear they are just laying the foundations for these hateful nut jobs to gain a foothold even while our electorate has been quite clear about this type of politics, disaffection & economic hardship breed all manner of peculiar swings

I will never vote for the ALP again under #RollOverAlbo. He lied repeatedly during the last election. His small target approach is really a cover for his lack of integrity and courage. Only thing he has going for him is the LNP are even worse. Question is why do we only have 'worst' or 'worstest'
November 10, 2025 at 1:45 AM
Albo is a right-wing fraud with no place even being a member of a nominally-left party, let alone its leader. His legacy will be that he is embraced by the LNP as one of its greatest ideological champions, and they’ll laugh at how the ALP helped him do it.

'In the 2025 election independents and minor parties received more votes than the LNP' Let's hope this trend continues to include the #ALP. #auspol

It would be really interesting to see if the #NACC really is fit for purpose by following up on the huge fraud being inflicted on the Australian taxpayer by both ALP and LNP Govts for political expediency. @tonyburkemp.bsky.social says "nothing to see here" #auspol
