@asianstudies.org is calling for applications to be a conference mentor at #AAS2025. I've done this for the past two years, and it's a great opportunity to help, advise, or just share your experiences with early career scholars whom you might not otherwise meet. www.asianstudies.org/aas-2025-cal...

It's beginning to look a lot like ... ice cream! AAS Conference Director Robyn Jones so enjoyed the Jeni's Ice Cream she tried in Columbus that she ordered a box of holiday flavors to serve at home this year.

Make sure you stop by Jeni's for a scoop (or two) during #AAS2025!

I’m hoooooome! Many thanks to the tireless organizers of #AAS2025, who sadly do not yet have control over the weather or flight mechanics. The children, meanwhile, are harsh critics of my absence.

Stop by the Hyatt foyer or #AAS2025 Exhibit Hall for a quick coffee or tea break! Outside the Exhibit Hall, you'll also be able to catch a pop-up performance by Sunhong Kim, playing the p'iri (Korean double reed instrument).

It's been a lovely time at #AAS2025 especially getting to see (or run into) friends and acquaintances from the past decade of scholastic entanglement. Really wish I'd taken up friends on the panel offer months ago haha

The AAS condemns Saturday's neo-Nazi demonstration in Columbus and the similar expressions of hate taking place elsewhere. Columbus, host city for #AAS2025, is home to many of our colleagues in Asian Studies, and we know that this event does not reflect the views or attitude of the city as a whole.
