Got a fresh one up on @motherboard this morning. This time I highlight a cool find by @8BitShowAndTell: A C64 program hidden in a vinyl record. https://www.vice.com/en/article/this-christian-rock-record-is-hiding-a-secret-commodore-64-program/

Here’s something pretty awesome: @8BitShowAndTell uncovered an Easter egg that Satoru Iwata, the late former president of @Nintendo, included in a VIC-20 game he programmed nearly 40 years ago.

Watch him break it down here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QJCwsi6O5xU

Here’s my shot at #10print on the TI-74. It has the ASCII table, but curiously, character 92, usually the backslash, is the Yen symbol on this device, so I used other characters.
It’s my continuation of my “10print on all the things” quest. This is essentially @8bitshowandtell ‘s fault.

@motherboard @8BitShowAndTell It was much more common to find such programs hidden on cassette tapes in the UK, and even then for the ZX Spectrum. But floppy disks won out as the storage medium of choice for C64 owners. So this may be a one-of-a-kind Easter egg.
