Sponsorship to WordCamps is such a privilege and I'm so grateful when it happens. Thank you so much to @wordpress.com for sponsoring me to #WCUS and #WCEH so that I could not only deliver talks at both, but also work on my contract work with them there. #grateful

Finally had time to watch the @dannysullivan.bsky.social talk from #WCUS - if you haven't seen it, it's a good one.

As frustrating as the #WCUS programming organizer role was, I kinda want to do it again next year just so I can advocate for a #pancakescon style track (beginner/early career level, and ~half of every session is about something totally unrelated to infosec, like storygames or spinning yarn).

WordPress, AI, and the generational shift: insights from #WCUS Creators Studio
Automattic's Developer Advocates didn't hold back at WordCamp US. Jonathan Bossenger, Brian Coords, Birgit Pauli-Haack, and Ryan Welcher sat down for a no-BS roundtable about WordPress's future, AI's actual role in the CMS world, and the big question: Is WordPress still cool enough for the next generation of developers? This wasn't your typical conference panel with rehearsed talking points.

Argh. If they could just not put WordCamp US dates near the first week of the new school year (my kids are in school and my wife is a teacher and it’s a big thing in the house) that would be great…. lol.

Seriously though… excited that it is in Phoenix next year. #WCUS #WordPress

Up, and at 'em. Lots of ideas swirling around in my head after #wcus, but... I think I could use -one- more day to relax.

No rest for they wicked, eh?

I was incredibly jetlagged in Portland this past #WCUS for the whole week, but it appears that going back to my own timezone went super smooth.

Pretty much slept in my normal schedule both nights I'm back, so that's a win.

I did the impossible!

I spent a week in the US (for #WCUS) and I LOST weight 🤯

Initial thoughts on Telex AI that was announced at #WCUS. Nice - could be useful - really struggles with using standard WordPress UX/UI features.

To answer the question @tacoverdo.com said on @wpbuilds.com on code quality - I've seen worse? Maybe a bit overengineered.

Home from #wcus.

I've missed my shower. I've missed my bed. I've missed my kids and my wife and my dog.

And not in that order.
