Great piece highlighting how climate change is driving the affordability crisis.

That's why we are a strong supporter of the #MakePollutersPay bill: the fossil fuel companies responsible for the climate crisis should have to pay to help clean it up.

And this is part of a bigger problem. As climate impacts intensify, insurance systems are failing.

Premiums rise, coverage shrinks and communities lose protection.

The answer is not opacity and higher costs for families. Polluters must pay for the damage.

Governments must make oil, coal and gas corporations pay their fair share for the damage they cause.

Introduce new taxes or fines on them to help communities at home and around the world rebuild from climate disasters and invest in climate solutions.
