Democratic Socialist, anthropologist, activist, and quasi-governmental do-gooder. Also, a granny to one sweet baby girl, a mom to two adults and an adult to three cats.
Voracious. Views are my own in Michigan.
I always liked this image as an explainer.

Next time I fly, I am wearing a full skirted ball gown and tiara. This is a special occasion!

That this is a thing that needs to be clarified should tell you we have a psychotic in the White House.

Everyone needs to post their Thanksgiving grocery haul, the receipt, and tag news media.

"Literal Nazis" has never been the issue. The issue is metaphorical nazis. We aren't worried about Zombie Hitler. We're worried about people who think Hitler was railroaded.

These two images perfectly sum up Trump's M.O.

Destroy America. Ignore Americans.

The Kentucky SOS had to explain that Kentuckians cannot vote for Mayor of New York City or Governor of Virginia.

Tonight's creepy flick.

This one is in my top 10 favorite movies.

Tonight's spooky flick.

I love this movie but I always roll my eyes at the first 20 minutes in which the famous author of "10 most haunted mansions" and "10 scariest cemeteries" is not only best-selling and famous, but feared like NYT food critic.

This cost the French royals their heads. Enriching yourself and building monuments to yourself while people are unemployed and starving is a recipe for revolt.

We always talk about the historical thread between Trump and other 20th Century authoritarians, but here's a thread that we're overlooking. The Russian and French Revolutions. Both of these palaces were abandoned when their residents were executed by their starving angry subjects. See Alt.

Approx. 77 million people voted for Trump and some portion of them will eventually have regrets about it.

Are we saying people are not salvagable? If you make a mistake, even a bad one, you are never welcome on the left. Even if you support our policies and you're working for our causes?

This makes me want to cry.

There was a pretty significant protest in Howell, MI.

Howell used to be a sundown town and is currently a place where Nazi groups assemble and march. It's also the chosen site for many of Trump's and Vance's speeches whenever they come to Michigan.

On one hand, this makes me wanna flip a table. On the other hand, it makes me wanna push for universal healthcare again because maybe if we call it something that resonates, like *FreedomCare*, they'll actually support it.
