so it turns out if you order the "Veggie hoggie" where one would normally have döner, fries and cheese, instead of grilled vegetables or something you instead get onions and lettuce kebab garnish 😭

chapati was good though
a polystyrene container inside which resides a chapati wrap containing a tonne of onions, lettuce, and the occasional tomato. There were some chips at the bottom, but we're talking 80% salad here. No cheese to be seen

Tragic: this seal just tried to use a free syrup but it was out of stock so accidentally said yes to one that wasn't in the offer
a generic looking Starbucks coffee on a table. It's an oat milk latte with toffee nut syrup, which is a limited edition item and thus cost 75p extra unlike the originally requested almond shot that would have been free with my Starbucks® card

A normal 4 pint bottle of milk, with nutritional information, barcode, front of pack nutritional labelling, and "Waitrose semi skimmed milk" branding. However, it is entirely black-and-white and conspicuously labelled "Cafe And Food Service Only NOT FOR RESALE"

🐬 out there taking extremely arty architectural photos and meanwhile my camera roll of the visit is mostly pictures of the toilet
a laminated A4 sign with an arrow, reading: "Do not miss - Senior Managers' Toilets c1890s (to view not use)" The toilets in question. Fancy flooring and hardwood doors, ruined slightly by the appearance of a modern cleaning trolley stashed in a corner. Controls for a victorian extractor fan The sinks for the Victorian bathroom. It's all fancy stonework and NOT IN USE signs
