I'm not excited about the Dodgers going back to the World Series (they're getting to be the Yankees of this century), but I did enjoy watching the Brewers getting crushed like little bugs. So at least there's that.

Knee surgery went well. Turns out my meniscus tear was much older than the MRI indicated, so all they could do was cut out the torn tissue, not stitch it up. On the bright side, I'm not on crutches, and my recovery should be quick. I'll just have arthritis sooner rather than later. :/

So I wanted to try new experiences the year I turned 50...one of them is going to be knee surgery. 🙃 The pain I've been having since April is a torn meniscus. If they can fix it, I'll be on crutches for 6 months. If they can't, I'll be back on my feet until the inevitable arthritis kicks in...
