The Zooniverse project "Angling for Data on Michigan Fishes" asked volunteers to help transcribe decades of data cards tracking changes in thousands of Michigan lakes. Over 450,000 classifications were made, and researchers are now able to use the data for scientific discoveries and conservation.

Jupiter's atmosphere is much like ours: there are clouds of different shapes and sizes. Through Jovian Vortex Hunter, Zooniverse.org volunteers had access to high resolution images captured by the Juno spacecraft as it orbited Jupiter, and were able to help identify different vortices.

Zooniverse platform was unexpectedly offline from Feb 18 to Feb 23. This happened because our database slowed down, and moving it to healthy hardware took longer than expected.
