I’m not a particularly artful or creative or imaginative person, I take a lot of things at face value, so it can be really difficult for me to dissect these things, so I end up “studying” the theories instead, if that makes sense

I still think it was a big “wtf” but in an artfully surreal way, like Naked Lunch. Thank you! This is such an interesting theory. I’ve seen theories that it’s just all through the lens of severe anxiety and that he’s a drug addict but not that he’s a serial killer. The theory you have about Elaine is good. And I would support that his mother’s behavior contributed to his actions.
