I don't know the extent of the situation, just surface level info, but it seems like this person named Ashley was getting harassed / a victim of continuous block evasion and this is how someone on the Dev team responded to their post (which has since been deleted)

I know this is a social media platform but there is a time and a place for that kind of behavior - you should be doing your job to make people feel safe and validated. Otherwise, why should anyone be here?

(3)I've heard from another teacher that their home life isn't ideal, and they get shuffled around to different family members regularly - so this method is probably where they've seen the most results, since there's no consistent firm voice. I'll just have to play around and find a good balance!

(2) it initiates a power struggle regardless. At school, that's not always realistic, although accommodations are given when possible. I don't know what strategies this family uses at home, but it's possible that the "I'll scream until I get what I want" is what gets their desired outcome.
