Yesterday I shared my WIP in blender. Today I'm sharing a bit more in game.

In Noctheria the NPC's will look at you and the Novice will look at them as well when they're close to each other.

This is top notch tech in the modern gaming landscape, just like mirrors is something that stopped working in videogames a long time ago.

Now I'm starting developing the fun part of Noctheria's demo: Puzzles and dungeons 🤘 🤘 🤘

Here's the Magic Arrow in action, this will help you defeat enemies and solve puzzles, for eg. you may need to hit a switch far away by shooting your spell in first person.

Inspired by Megumin, I turned the bombs into an Explosion Spell. I'm wondering if I should change the explosion effect now to look more "nuclear-like" just like Megumin's

A difficult part of mixing Survival Horror with Zelda-likes is how to do "tool" items (Bombs, Bow, etc) and keep the resource management and limited inventory of games like RE.

The answer: turn tools into spells called Exvotos.

Working on a new Spell in Noctheria:

The explosion spell will help you open new paths, damage enemies and solve puzzles.
