Not me just finding out there’s a jazz club in Minneapolis! Wowowow!

Yes, the ‘customer impact score’. I’ve felt the “close your eyes and throw a dart” feelings in rooms where we’re trying to arrive at this.

Appreciate your insight! Thinking about this a lot, being on a new customer-centric team in an org trying to shift to actually taking that approach.

Tbh kinda disappointed to see that it’s just a text invite. With all the power they have they couldn’t figure out your address and show up in the middle of the night for an elaborate ‘summoning ceremony’ with the standard soul-offering rituals? Lame.

My return to family life after my first bout with COVID a couple years ago was marked by a 2-3 times daily “Are you still SO sick?” from my kid that lasted almost a month 😂

I love the “text to ask a question but substitute my own answer for one I don’t like” energy here 😂

This all makes a TON of sense. How have you seen customer need factor into prioritization in idea-first orgs? Are needs still considered as a high, but secondary, criteria to quality of idea? Mainly retro-fitted to justify favorite ideas? Mainly ignored?

Now I’m imagining reading the phrase “curse my skeetblind eyes” in sumerian in 5300 bce.

So curious about how much this person actually uses that word in the way they are defending without using it. Must be in the fire extinguishing business!
