My first attempt at a scratch build using polystyrene. This is a bottling plant and the name is to honor a friend of mine that recently passed. Rest well friend, I know you would have gotten a kick out of this.

The kit came with decals for the tires but I wasn't sure how that would work? They had raised letters so I thought I'd give a shot just panting them. So far so good!

I haven't done Decals in probably 2 decades. This was incredibly nerve wrecking! There were some oopsies here but not nearly as bad as it could have gone! Going to let it set overnight before tackling the rest.

Making steady progress on the steam deck model train controller. I'm putting an eye towards UI with this update. Next step will be the interface for switching locos.

Integrating the Rail driver to control my DCC-EX just feels like a transformative experience! With more work I'll be able to simulate the brakes and even different kinds of loads. #modeltrain #software #sologamedev

Designing a model railroad layout is an exercise is tradeoffs. Wanting maximum space for the trains while not trying to sacrifice your living space. Here is a prototype idea I am working on for my basement. T-Track modules on folding shelves. What do you think?

I've never scratch built with polystyrene before, but I felt like this little factory needed a loading platform. Pretty happy with it so far.

Last month I gave a demo of my "Virtual Frieght" #MixedRewkity game concept to the local model train club. It was very well received! Since then I've been really excited about adding more features around all the feedback I got. Hope to show off some of that soon.
