My first attempt at a scratch build using polystyrene. This is a bottling plant and the name is to honor a friend of mine that recently passed. Rest well friend, I know you would have gotten a kick out of this.

The kit came with decals for the tires but I wasn't sure how that would work? They had raised letters so I thought I'd give a shot just panting them. So far so good!

I haven't done Decals in probably 2 decades. This was incredibly nerve wrecking! There were some oopsies here but not nearly as bad as it could have gone! Going to let it set overnight before tackling the rest.

Designing a model railroad layout is an exercise is tradeoffs. Wanting maximum space for the trains while not trying to sacrifice your living space. Here is a prototype idea I am working on for my basement. T-Track modules on folding shelves. What do you think?
