I think we can safely say that the Leavitt's brother called ICE on his ex, the mother of his child, and I have to say: I have no desire to respect, find common ground or share the country with these monsters.
“After Ferreira was detained, Dos Santos Rodrigues said Michael Leavitt Sr. and his father, Bob Leavitt, reached out to her.”

“‘They just kept saying, ‘Tell her to self-deport,’” she recalled. “Self-deport to where? Brazil is not her home.’” www.bostonglobe.com/2025/11/26/m...
‘Brazil is not her home.’ Mother of Karoline Leavitt’s nephew, brought to US as child, detained by ICE. - The Boston Globe
Bruna Ferreira, 33, was brought to the United States as a child in 1998. She is now in removal proceedings in Louisiana.

Absolute insanity to see how mundane the NYT writes about Trump’s mental and physical decline compared to the way they haunted Biden.

This newspaper is beyond repair!

To be clear (since NPR isn't), the "joke" is premised on the fact that Trump is kidnapping people w/o due process and shipping them to offshore concentration slave camps in defiance of court orders, human rights accordances, the U.S. constitution, all tenets of common decency, and international law.

The New York Times, where the popular mayor-elect of their city is a fringe figure, but the QAnon podcaster who asked him a racist question comes out as a "winner"

This newspaper hates its readers as much as Republicans hate their voters. And if you're still supporting either, you deserve it.
What a strange framing and characterization. How does one describe his blatantly dishonest, racist question about taxes as “press[ing] the Mayor-elect on his policy proposals”? In what way does this lying troll emerge as a “winner“?

Remember when Cheney was the epitome of evil with the whole "taking gloves off" torture stuff. Are the Democrats honoring Cheney today going to honor Trump in the same way when he dies? And keeps some of the racist policies intact like Obama did with the war on terror stuff?

Having been a C-level executive during Trump 1, I can tell you that I spent significant time trying to dodge invitations to his White House, because I was afraid of blowback onto my company and its products. Interesting how this time it's different for so many people.
Tim Cook, of Apple, is at this dinner.

The likes of Musk and Schwarzman—sure, that's who they are.

But Cook has been groveling more than strictly necessary.
