🥣 Brazil’s recipe to end hunger is shockingly simple – and it works.

👧🏽 Universal school meals
💸 Cash transfers + minimum wage
🌾 Buying from family farmers
🍲 Community kitchens
📜 The right to food in law

It all comes back to land.
It's #WorldFoodDay. Let’s talk about the source of our food – land.

Just 1% of agriculture operators now control 70% of global farmland.

That’s not just inequality, it’s a #foodsystem crisis.

🎥 Canadian farmer Nettie Wiebe explains:

Israel has killed hundreds of journalists, including Anas al-Sharif. Meanwhile, the mainstream media continues to enable the genocide. The tide is not turning nor are journalists in the West developing a moral compass. They are entirely complicit.

Anas Al-Sharif was one of the most remarkable reporters of his generation. For 673 days, he defied Israeli threats to kill him.

Al Jazeera now confirm their crew in Gaza City have all been assassinated:

🌾🥣 Hunger and malnutrition are a matter of #food access, inequality and poverty. #Hunger is a political choice: it's not rocket science 🧵👇
🚨 The world produces more food per person than ever before—yet 700 million people remain chronically undernourished.🌾🥣

#Hunger is about power, inequality, & broken systems.⚖️

So why are Nobel laureates calling for a ‘moonshot’ to boost food production?

The world produces more than enough #food to feed everyone.

Yet it is shamefully misallocated.

BigAg firms make more profit by exporting food for animal feed, biofuels, or ultra-processed foods, than selling it to poor people. 1/3 of all food is simply wasted.
