I’m not sure they’ve thought this through…
What’s happening in Gaza is horrific and while PMs statement is the right words, it’s not enough. We must stop resisting doing the right thing.
For people who conflate Hamas with all Palestinians…

Hamas won power in the 2006 election

There have been no elections since

They won with 11% of the votes of the total population

11%

…and yet 100% are paying the price.

This sort of "here is how we know" article, in which the evidence is thoroughly summarized and clearly explained and common counter-arguments are calmly debunked with evidence, is probably something we should be doing a lot more of.

Some people are not persuadable. Many are.

Vaccines do not cause autism. You’ve almost certainly read that before — but often without a full explanation of how we know it to be true. Here's how we know.

"Can do!" I said. "Although obviously it would be deranged to do literally every day!"
Then I did literally every day.

Tango & Cash might be my favourite
It would, however, be very funny if President Business sank Tesla's stock so far it forced a margin call and blew up Elon's loans and tanked all his bullshit forever.

That would be Very Funny (TM). Tango and Cash really do desrve each other.

I really thought this government might stick up for the public sector and its successes, small and big, but the dominant message continues to be negative. It’s incredibly disappointing.
Guy in an electric wheelchair passed me as I returned home from buying the paper, easily crossing roads with dropped pavements, and just thought this is the result of a lot of work and regulation by the public sector. Which you'll rarely read about.

If you’re drawn to a politician because they promise to be cruel to Muslims or Jews or immigrants or gays or transgender people etc, the least you should do - the absolute, bare bones, still morally vacuous least - is ask yourself whether they’re likely to stop at the group you want to see targeted.

Trump doesn’t give a shit about peace just plundering the natural resources of bombed, raped and pillaged lands. He’s a common thief stealing from corpses in the wreckage whilst siding with the perpetrator and there’s not enough words in the English language to describe how much I hate the bastard.
