So. I guess while they entertain Carol and the other immune few, they're getting ready to pool Earth's resources to transmit the signal to another planet.

What I want to know next is if the hivemind of Earth is still connected to whatever planet the signal came from. The scientists at the beginning of the first episode speculated that someone or something had to have made a satellite dish the size of Africa to send that signal.

I predicted that the woman introduced at the beginning of the second episode was sent by The One because it was someone from Carol's past that she knew and/or trusted. But their actual connection was SO much better!
