This was maybe 20min vs 2-3 hours if working more refined, and I can always come back and do a 2nd sketch if wanting it more precise/if I like the idea. May share more of these here, and save the refined sketches for my main account - these are great for ideas exploration.

Tbh, I know it isn't visually the most impressive but I'm really happy with this sketch - it's a bit harder working with a thicker line, but the benefit is that it's way faster because of that.

Unedited version - just a lot of small things could be better. As a stylization test it at least works, need to find more species of characters to practice. Curious where it'll go from here.

It's like the sketch is engraved and you can feel every line, I love working with traditional for this sort of result.

.... Except now I /really/ want to use this paper because the texture when touching this sketch is absolutely insane to feel.

Tbh, probably looking to go digital for coloring the sketches because it's just a bit easier to color match, and more forgiving I'd something doesn't go quite right. Hoping I can do that over the weekend.

If nothing else still sharing because I had the wip photos, and while I dislike how the final image turned out I still am a bit happy with the sword idea, and how their legs looked (along with the gesture of the cape). Just definitely not used to going for darker shading and it shows.
