When they go low, we do too, (and that’s okay with me.) It’s time to fight fire with fire when our government cuts SNAP benefits for the hungry, tries to eliminate affordable healthcare without a backup plan for years, terrorizes vulnerable communities, and destroys democracy. Go Governor!

We all are descendants from immigrants who now reside on stolen land. (Unless we’re Native American descendants from the diverse tribes we tried to decimate and hide.) Without migrant populations our economy, food sources and work force will collapse. It’s time to stand up for the working class.

Compassion is a practice. Empathy is a choice. Cruelty is a conscious decision to hurt others. We must choose hope and love if we’re going to survive these dark days.

I marched in the peaceful HandsOff! Rally in Thousand Oaks, California. An event with protesters chanting together to sounds of horns honking with fists raised in solidarity. An afternoon basking in the warm and bright sunshine with like-minded defenders of democracy.

A Tesla protest in Pasadena California yesterday. It was small, loud and mighty. Let’s hope these continue and that sales decline. The only way to hurt an oligarch is in the wallet.

Lunch in Pasadena today and saw a big rally at the a Tesla Dealership on Colorado. So many people were there with signs for a couple of hours and almost all passing cars were honking in solidarity. Quite a showing of disdain for the car that supports an oligarch.
